Best way to switch from finasteride to dutasteride

Hi everyone

I've been taking finasteride (1mg) for 5 years. It's helped me to maintain hair, but sadly there hasn't been any regrowth.

So I've decided to switch to dutasteride (0.5 mg).

I was going to simply stop the one & start the other, but I'm a little worried that this might result in shedding. With that in mind, what's the best way to transition?

Do you mean you take 3 dutasteride & 4 finasteride pills per week?

How long have you been taking dutasteride?

No I just take dutasteride for the last 5 years.

If you didn't have any side effects on finasteride and it worked well for you, dutasteride might be an improvement.
