Alopecia Areata: Causes and Treatment
Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune disorder that leads to severe Hair Loss on the different parts of the body including the scalp, eyebrows, beard. In alopecia areata, you may notice the problem like coin-sized bald patches on the skin and hair.
Causes of Alopecia Areata
Alopecia areata occurs when the immune system attacks its self-causing hair follicles to fall out in patches. Moreover, Alopecia has been linked to other autoimmune disorders like the thyroid disease, Vitiligo, lupus, Rheumatoid arthritis, and allergic conditions.
