New Jersey dermatologist
Hi, can anyone recommend a dermatologist or doctor in New Jersey that will actually help come up with a plan to keep existing hair? Thanks

When it comes to treating hair loss, I think it's best to go to a Hair Restoration Specialist/Hair Transplant Surgeon. They're gonna be much more well-versed in hair loss than a dermatologist is and can really help guide and direct in you in a more specific way. Setting up a consultation with them does not mean you need to get a Hair Transplant, and they can help you come up with a game plan to keep the existing hair you have for as long as possible.
When looking for HT Surgeons, I use a list of recommended surgeons from another forum. I did a search for you there and the only ones that popped up in that area are Dr. Robert True and Dr. Robert Dorin. It looks like they run a practice together, so I think it's worth looking into them.
And lastly, I want to add that should the day come that you decide a hair transplant is right for you, don't base your decision on who to go with on location alone.
Hope that helps!
I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My opinions/comments are my own and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.
