    Default Need some opinions...buzz cut?

In looking at my pics, is my head shape that asymmetrical where I shouldn’t buzzcut my hair down to a 1 guard? So tired of dealing with the hair loss stuff but the big thing holding me back has been my head shape. It’s like canted to my left a bit on the front and maybe isn’t 100% symmetrical all the way back I guess..looking at it give me a honest opinion please? Just very self conscious about it.

Been reading all the posts great support forum!

Maybe keep it short but wouldn't buzz it.

Very very few people have symmetrical heads or faces. I don't think I tight buzz would be an issue. Try a longer buzz, and see how it looks, and then try a bit shorter. If you don't like it, it can grow back.

I second that. It would look better, overall.

So what guard length is recommended? My wife claims that she doesn’t see anything but I really want opinions from those who don’t see me everyday. If it’s a huge and overwhelming “no way you’re deformed” or if it’s a “dude what are you talking about”...I’ve even gone so far as consult with a plastic surgeon to put a skull implant in to even things out. Big thanks for all the posts

I think your face/head looks as symmetrical as you would ideally want it to look. Even the most "attractive" people on the planet don't have perfectly symmetrical faces. I saw a thread recently online where they took some of the biggest celebrities and photoshopped their faces so that each side was identical to the other, and they looked really strange - and not nearly as attractive. A little asymmetry is perfectly normal and human, so I'm gonna fall into the "Dude what are you talking about camp" as well.

As for the buzz cut, try it out. It's the only way to know for sure is to give it a go. Do it in baby steps if you want so that you can have time to adjust.
