37 and Balding at the Crown? Will Minoxidil Help?
Hello everyone, my name is Alex.
I'm 37 and probably have a Norwood 2a hairline. I've been a Norwood 2 since my early to mid 20's but have always had thick hair.
However, I do think I'm thinning on top at the crown/vertex so if there are any professionals on here, an opinion would be appreciated.
Can you see obvious miniaturization? If so, how long do you think I have until a full bald spot develops?
Will Minoxidil help stop this at least for a while?
Any comments would be helpful. :-)

Considering ur age minox alone won’t work...add Finasteride.

Thanks for the info and the advice. Just out of curiosity, why won't Minoxidil work at my age?
I thought I'd see what Minoxidil would do first and then add Propecia in about 6 months. Even though I'm in fairly decent shape, I suffer from hereditary high blood pressure so I take medication for that and thus, have to be a bit careful about introducing other tablets willy-nilly.
I'm probably still years off a fully balding crown and my hairline at the front is a Norwood 2 maybe Norwood 2a at the worst. It could be a lot worse but I'd like to nip this in the bud fairly early on and keep most of my hair until at least my mid to late 40's.
