Hi all,
I'm 51 years old and suffered a trauma 14 months ago, the passing of my wife....several months after her passing I noticed hair line changes, thinning of the shaft and texture changes, very dry itchy scalp and hair on my hands when washing. My family members have MPB. I saw a derm for a skin check up and asked about hair, he said it looks like mpb and start rogaine and gave a prescription for shampoo, (didn't help) now on head and shoulders , but seems it's super dry. I started rod. for a few weeks and it seemed as the scalp itch was worse And scalp got got red and really irritated from rog . I can live happily with what I have left but don't want anymore loss.
It's my thought that the trauma accelerated the MPB , although I'm new at this???

Not sure what my next step should be ? Any direction or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
