I'm 3.5 months post op 1200 grafts FUE and am experiencing what I think to be shock loss in the donor area as the band where hair was extracted is much more transparent than surrounding areas. The right side much more so than the left side. I have had 2 surgeries before of 1500 grafts and 700 grafts without this problem. Is this normal?

I would keep an eye on it. If extractions were done too close it may be an issue. One thing to watch out for is what I call DONOR HALOs after the 12 month mark. If you still see patches at the 12 month mark then it would be a concern. Right now just monitor and let your surgeon know so it us documented at this stage. Best of luck. -
