Am I losing my hair?

I’m 17 years old. I’ve noticed that I can see some scalp when I look at my crown. Also, my hairline might be receding because it isn’t straight but it doesn’t have that horseshoe shape yet. I noticed the uneven hairline when I was 16 and I don’t know if it was like that before because I had really long hair. My dad is like a NW5 but shaves it bald. His dad is a NW7. My moms dad has a full head of hair.

Difficult to say without before pictures. The back just looks like where it parts. Keep these pictures and compare every 6 months and if they look worse you can get on propecia.

In 6 months to a year you will be 18 so if you are losing your hair that is about the only thing to slow it down. It is all down hill after 18

I have a similar hairline and wanted to know if your beard is as patchy as mine? I don't think my hairline is receding yet.

My beard is very patchy, it doesn’t look good at all if I let it grow for more than a week.
