Where am I on the norwood scale?
Hey guys,
My hair started thinning around 25 or 26. I'm 29 now and have finally gotten on Propecia(started last Wednesday). Any my question is where on the norwood scale would you say i am. I have no balding anywhere in the back, it's just my hairline that noticeably receded. Won't lie i am self conscious about it somewhat. Originally i thought i was a norwood 2 or 2A, but i'm thinking i may be in the Norwood 3 territory. What do you guys think?
Apologize for the picture angles. This is my hair washed with no products in it. Not brushed, and in need of a haircut. Going get one next week.

agree with NW2. Your really in good shape. A NW 2 for a 21 year old would be significant loss but as a 29 year old I would say you are just typical for your age. If propecia works for you, you could end up as a nw 2 at 39 and a NW3 as a 45 year old which would put you ahead of the curve when compared to your peers

That's so encouraging to hear. It really is. Genetics has me balding in my 40's(my father and paternal grandfather lost their hair in their 40's according to my dad), so i'm glad i caught this before it was too late.
