    Default Purple recipient area

    Hi guys,
Today marks 7 days since I got my FUE procedure in Istanbul - 3050 grafts.
I was pretty decided about the surgery, read everything about it, felt prepared and decided to keep it a secret.
The procedure went smooth more or less, however I was kept for quite a while post-op as I was bleeding a lot. This caused my crust to be somewhat thicker than the usual.
Now, week after, half of my scabs are gone, and I'm shocked to notice, that my recipient area isn't necessarily red, it is purple and seems somewhat irritated. Knowing I have to go back to work in a week this obviously is very stressful and I feel very anxious about it.
I tried talking to the clinic and they informed me that is it normal and it takes few weeks t to get rid of the redness. I know it is still early, however comparing how fast my donor is healing, I'm really woried something went wrong with the recipient. I might have exposed it to sun on the fourth day as I took a walk around the city, but only watched out to walk in the shadows, might have walked in the sun for few minutes for sure. It was pretty dark from the get go. How can I help this process? I read everything I could and I guess I just need to speak about it as I got left alone in the process and not sure I am handling it well mentally.
I continue with my post-op care and went out to buy aloe vera. Hopefully there is some progress soon.

So this is a 9 days post op update.
The scabs came off, which I think aloe vera aided.
The last one that started moving and Irubbed it and I seems I got myself a graft or two less, right in the middle of my forehead, as there was a tiny tiny bleeding which Im sure means it dislocated.
To be honest Im so paranoid about the shade of the skin being purple, that I can't be too sad about it. I can't sleep and Im starting to get heavily depressed, and wondering if the operation was a mistake.
My donor is red, as expected, however it is you know, RED. That I could deal with. Purple patch on the forehead just makes it unbelievably unnatural and makes me worried that I cant shave my head now.
Despite this being viewed and not replied, I will keep this is as my journal. Can somebody move this thread if this doesnt belong here?
