Minoxidil and Derma Roller combination on receding hairline (aged 17)

Hi guys
I’m 17 y/0 male who’s hairline is receding. My dad was essentially bald by 24 so I know which way I’m headed, however I want to fight this as best I can. I’ve realised that I’m two young for finasteride but still want to combat my hairloss before it’s too late. Is the Minox derma roller combo effective on hairline? How do I go about administering the treatment? I’ve heard minox causes premature ageing- how true is this?
