I've noticed steady receding, V-shape, in front for few years which I'm trying to hide.

Now, the top looks thinning. WTF.

How bad is it on the scale? How much longer before the inevitable.

Recommendations? Shave it and be done?

    curt a.

wondering what happens if I do no drugs?

How long before i go from the awkward thinning stage to people saying i'm bald?

and what kind of haircut would be better?

I am wondering how it looks without product? That makes the hair stick together and shows more scalp. No "Dutasteride" is not THE answer, it might be an answer.

I would go for another photo... with dry hair.

I think i'm starting to crown? How much longer before it's really bad?

Is it possible the density is 1/2 on top as the sides?

Also, i think i have that little island of hair in the front? Is that next to go?

I am going to say, a classic Norwood 3, vertex. As for going forward, I suspect the baldspot on the crown will grow larger, as the "V" will get deeper.

How long? Really depends. As for the Island, it depends, it may go quickly, or it may hang on.

I would take the next step, and just shave it.

i didn't even realize the spot on top was so shin until i buzzed it. kid of surprised.
it seems like it's getting thinner faster. all of a sudden.

if the spot on top becomes all skin, i'll prob take to Bic.

i'm thinking Goldie locks may not be back. ha.

At least you have a good attitude about it.

Good luck. I would also not use a bic, probably a MachIII

                      BTW, go here:

Much nicer folks, in general, than on here.

I'm still at acceptance stage that my hair is dropping out. Kind of hard to relate to myself as a bald guy yet. BUT if the thinnest areas show only skin the BIC might be my future. Who knows how long.

f'ing disgusting seeing guys with bald spots and long hair. imo.

can't believe i used bald guy and me in the same sentence. f'ing not right.

You know, live and let live... not fair to judge other guys' decisions on what to do with their hair or lack of.

True that. Just f'ing weird knowing you're in that awkward stage some people noticing but it's not really bad yet.

Dude, I was 16 when my hair started to fall out. For me, it was the hairline, the crown only went in my 30s. It was a slow and painful process. I totally understand how it's hard to swallow.
