Beginning hair loss I think, shedding everyday. Starting organic. 21 Y/O

Hello, over two months ago I noticed that i have been shedding hair daily. in the shower when I shampoo I lose hair, When I Comb I lose hair.
If i shake my hair over the sink, strands fall out.
if i run my hands through my hair sometimes I get a strand or two.
My hair is still pretty thick, as I think i've caught this early. I have a dermatologist appointment in a week..

first of al I've always had a high hair line, and to me it doesn't look receded cus its always been like that...
my dads bald as hell, and I do not want to end up like that..
Im going to start using sulfate free shampoo, argen oil and take supplemental biotin and zinc.

will this stop my hair loss? im losing probably 50 hairs or more a day.
thank you.. and If it doesn't stop do you recommend propencia?
