Odd thinning on side of head infront of ears. Seeking opinions

I am a 17 year old, and after a haircut i noticed the areas in front of my ears are seemingly thin. The area is itchy on certain days. If i lightly pull on the areas i can expect 1-2 hairs to fall out. Any opinion is appreciated.

Nope, Iol I luckily never had acne.

Is this on both ears or just the one? My hair is thinner there as well (although more along the temple points) and this is often just a part of a balding pattern... or maybe not even balding - just a hair pattern. While not ideal, mine doesn't bother me too much, and I doubt anyone else even notices it.

Keep an eye on it to see if it progresses, but if it doesn't, it's probably nothing to worry about.

Ok thank you, I went to the doctor recently, and got prescribed some dandruff shampoo. If I notice anything serious I'll go back
