5 months into Finasteride and my hair looks pretty much the same.
Im 5 months into fin and I've been shedding ever since starting it. 100 healthy hairs plus some days. When i run my hairs though my heads I usually get a hair or two on my hands. Showers 50 plus healthy hairs on hands. However, I feel as though my hair looks the same maybe a little worse at the hairline. But, isn't the shedding suppose to stop after 3/4 months. I assume the continued shed from start to right now is not a good sign? Can someone help or give advise?

What is your current diet/stress levels? Also you using the same type brand finesteride or have you been switching different brands?
Try a high alkaline diet while taking finesteride, also add Ketaconazole shampoo.

Sup jazz thanks for the response, I don’t have that much stress if any it from hair loss lol. I also eat healthy and exercise often. I also use ketaconazole shampoo. I got my blood tested the other day and my dht levels are still high 5.5 month into fin.... which is a first I’ve heard of after searching everywhere online. Think I’m going to add duta

You should not be shedding at all, I use rogaine all over my head with propecia and my shedding stopped right away. Try using lysine and arginine they help create stronger follicles . I also use viviscal ,it made may hair healthier but it's expensive, if you don't want to spend that kind of money try krill oil or fish oil and biotin
