Hi all,
Here’s a little background! In two months I’ll undergo a 4,000+ procedure with Dr. Josephitis at SMG. I’ve heard wonderful things with him and SMG, and I’m looking forwood to it as a 5a, who currently wears a system - it blows. Ready to ditch this thing. Goal is to cover the front half, and reduce the size of the system to the crown, where I’ll proceed with another procedure down the road and ditch it all together. SMG said I can wear the system 8-10 days after my procedure, need to remove it everyday after work/while I sleep, then adhere with clips and tape to front (during workday) careful to not impact the grafts in any way.
From a timeline standpoint, I also read that 3 months post op, 20% of growth will be visible, and at 6 months, 80% of hairs will have broken the surface, with 50-60% of final cosmetic results. 8-10 month will have 70-80% final cosmetic results.
Obviously this varies for everyone, just want to make sure I’m within reasonable expectations.
