25 year old looking for some advice...

I have been suffering male pattern baldness for some years now, I am 25 now turning 26 soon, and while I have accepted my fate, I still would like to try anything that may at least slow down the process. The biggest issue I have had is having at times rather itchy scalp at the areas where the hair is receding, followed by redness and dandruff. I try hard to not itch but it's difficult to always avoid it. It seems to me this itching is contributing to the hair loss. My hair loss is rather visible, can clearly be seen I have less hair on top than at the sides, it makes me look older. I have tried all sorts of shampoos, right now am trying Ultrax Labs Hair Surge shampoo, but not sure how much it will help. I have been to a top notch dermatologist who ran a bunch of blood tests for some reason than in the end just sold his own shampoo on me at a high price that is simply an organic cleansing shampoo and said it's genetic.

Does anyone have any advice? I believe if I can somehow take care of this itch, it will not recede as quickly. I'm sure many of you have had that itch, it's a really annoying sensation and as a result hair falls out. After shampooing and taking shower, the itch goes away for some time, but then comes back. Also stress aggravates it. Another thing to add my scalp is rather sensitive, not sure if this is part of MPB or separate. It easily gets red (on top though) for example when getting a hair cut.
