    Default Am I balding?

I went to a hair specialist and he said no. My mom says no, my sister says no, my dad says no and my friends say no. If the answer really IS no THEN why do I have these ****ing hairs in my temple area! They are thin and blonde and terrible quality.

It may be that you're simply someone who will bald in the future but isn't currently doing so, when I was 16-22 I hadn't started balding but my temple hairs became increasingly wispy and light colored.

Your hair looks to otherwise be in good condition.

Oh okay if that’s the case, by what age did you actually start balding? And would you advise me to get on Finasteride now?

I started slowly receding around 22, however I didn't really notice it until around 25, around which time my hair started thinning as well as receding.

Hard to say dude, you look young, and finasteride can really screw body chemistry up. I have been taking it for over a year and it seems to have halted loss, however the side effects suck even at my age (27) and mine aren't that bad compared to a lot of people. Personally I wouldn't exchange the years where libido/energy are at peak for a few extra hairs on my head, I'd wait until 25ish when you've at least had some fun.

Right now you're absolutely fine, nobody is going to look at you and think you're balding, and there's currently nothing to suggest that you will have aggressive MPB, so I'd suggest waiting it out and occasionally checking up on it to see if the situation has worsened.
