22 year old male maturing hairline or signs of further balding?

    Hello all,

I am a 22 year old male currently living in Vietnam for three months (sun everyday).
I noticed that my temples have receded a good amount since last year of what i can remember.

My father still has a good amount of hair for his age (54) but his temples have also receded very much but still has hair in the front. my grandpa almost didn't have any recession when my dad was born.
on my mothers side all my uncles were balding pretty early with the exception of one.

The thing is that instead of a v shape, an u shape is starting to develop.
And I can't really figure out how that will develop in the future.
I have some hair miniaturization but very noticable.
Should I start fenasteride? And what are the side effects of that.

I would like your opinion on the pictures I attached.
(I'm dutch so my english might look weird haha)

    Kind regards,

    Rick.Click image for larger version

There are probably hundreds of threads on this subject already.

Maturing is balding. The only issue is that with maturing... you can not progress past the "maturing" stage, if years, or forever.

Or, it can just continue. Parents are just ONE factor, you have genetics that go back many generations, DHT and external factors (environment, stress, diet, meds, etc).

Yeah I know a lot of people ask this, so I thought let's add one to the list that helps me.

I was curious on your opinion on how this kind of hairline usually developes because of the U shape instead of V shape.
I don't care if the balding gets serious when I get to 40-50 but I am wondering how it will be developed when I hit 30.

There is really no way to know... just to wait and see.
