Recent Hair Transplant Questions
So I just recently had a HT, but for some reason maybe I wasn't listening but I dont ever recall the Doctors office mentioning that my scalp in the recipent area would feel like a head of stone literally!!!
It's been about 8.5 weeks post op and it's still numb. I am getting nervous that the sensation my never come back... And it's still red also..
Does this happen to all patients ? Is it better or worst with FUE or FUT?
Can anyone share some thoughts or experience here please !
Thanks

Doctor Representative
There can be numbness and tightness after FUT, as nerves have been severed during the procedure and this takes time to heal. It does sound like you might be suffering more than most so I would get in touch with the doctor and see what they say.
I'm assuming you didn't have FUE. It certainly wouldn't be normal to experience this with FUE.

I had an FUE procedure. 3500 grafts . Mostly numb front middle of head to hairline...
