Shedding after moving from Fin to Dut
So i’ve been on fin for 20 years at a dose of 1.25mg, 14 weeks ago I moved to dutasteride at a dose of 2.5mg, to allow my blood levels to build up I used both for 6 weeks before dropping the fin. so I have only been running the dutasteride on it’s own for 12 weeks. During these 12 weeks i’ve started shedding more and more to where im getting pretty worried. I took a medicheck blood test last week to make sure my DHT levels were responding accordingly to the dut and my DHT results came back as 0.43 nmol/l ref range 0.33 - 3.01
So my question is why am I shedding, I thought dut especially at 2.5mg is way better then fin and from my blood results it looks like it’s doing it’s job but why is my hair literally jumping out my head ?

Anyone ? I would really appreciate some advice 😀

So no one on this forum has moved from Finasteride to dutasteride with bad results ? I can’t be the only one can I ?

I moved form fin to dut.... and results were awesome...

The question is why would you move? I know some people who use both and alternate between the two etc......

I get heart palpitations and anxiety from the fin but not from the dutasteride, not sure why with low DHT levels of 0.43 nmol/l ref range 0.33 - 3.01 while on the dutasteride that I’m having such a major shed ??
