2000+ Grafts Norwood 3 - 36year old male. Toronto Ontario - SureHair Interational
Hello everyone,
I have been reading a lot of threads and have decided to take the plunge. I would like to share in return as much information as I can gather. IF you have any questions or comments/tips, please don't hesitate to respond.
The procedure was done in approximately 14.5 hours at Seager Medial but Dr. Gupta and his associates. I was treated like a king and pain was very well managed. The biggest pain were the needles in front and back for freezing. Stung like bees one after the other. The freezing in the front was definitely the worst. After the freezing, it was a breeze although I needed top ups every so often which the staff was always quick in administering more as needed.
I hope to hear any feedback, comments or tips. I will do my best to answer quickly. FYI I am not on any medication nor do I plant on trying any.

Post OP Day 1
Seems like everything it normal so I'm travelling back home from Toronto. There's not much pain if any whatsoever. Of course you can't touch anything but on it's own, I'd say bad sunburn would be worst.
So far so good. The back is a bit oozy with clear liquid... nothing to be worried out.

Post OP Day 2
On day number 2, I was able to remove the bandage around my head - it was raw at first but felt better after applying polysporin antibiotic cream. No long after the swelling began as the freezing began moving downwards. We all poked fun at me for the large cheeks and puffy eyes.
No real need for pain meds. Just doing a round of antibiotics until they're done.
So far so good!

Post OP Day 3
Well, today things are getting better. There is still no pain and sleeping isn't an issue. I was able to wash the back donor area and then pour warm water over the recipient area this morning. This all felt very nice.
The blood and crud is slowly coming out of the native hairs... I'm looking less like a serial killer.
I still have some swelling... not sure yet if it's better or worst than yesterday. Whichever it is, it's not a big deal. I'm not leaving the house hahah.

Before OP photos - my everyday life
I figured I would show what I was able to pull off even though I have a receding hairline and thin hair. Topik has been a godsend! I felt like I was always compensating for what I didn't have.
I grew tired of using the concealer and moved onto something permanent. Maybe a 2nd FUE will be required but I feel like a I have a good starting point which will be a great improvement over my current situation.
