Default Reliable Male Pattern Baldness Dna Testing?

I am 25 and have some receding on my temples (4 mm) and overall thin hair, but more noticeably on the top sides, then sides, and less on the very back. Receding started when I was 17, took few months and stopped. Not complaining since it has been 8 years but I'm worried its some weird variation of male pattern baldness that can resume at any point.

I'm considering doing a FUE surgery since the area is so small and I can afford it and because of I've always had the same haircut with front hair going down and covering that 4mm of a high hairline area on the sides so it likely won't be too obvious, but I've been told FUE is not recommended if one day I may go completely bald since there will be little hair left on my donor areas. Then again, the doctor is also not very fond of the idea of creating a scar line with FUT for a small transplant area.

Nobody in my family as far as I know has had male pattern baldness except one grandfather who passed away in his 50s from a heart attack and had a similar hairline to me with slightly receded sides.
My brother is 28 and has a similar hairline to me, same with my dad.
The bad news is I don't know who my other grandfather was or how he looked.

For these reasons and pure curiosity/paranoia I would want to take a DNA test to check if I have this gene.
In any case I'll likely go with a surgery as I'm tired of having the same haircut all my life and others I've tried with my barber just looking weird because of the direction my hair grows (left on one temple, down on the other), but the results may affect what type of surgery to choose.

I think there's one DNA testing service (ancestry.com?) which can tell a whole lot more about your genetics if you sent a vial back to them with a little bit of your spit in it and then you can access the DNA analyzis results from their website.

Something like that but just check for the male pattern baldness causing genes would be perfect.
Sending me a tool which works like the pregnancy testers is also an option.
Can pay around 300 USD excluding shipping.
I'm not from US so international shipping would be needed.

Is there anything out there for what I'm looking for?

Thanks in advance people. And if anyone would like to help with advices in FUE/FUT surgery that would be swell but maybe for a separate topic.
