Itchy scalp? And new hairstyle?
So i noticed i was thinning on top of my head in January when i was standing up a bright light and my hair was greasy. I panicked, looked online for shampoos and started paying more attention to my hair.
Long story short, I tried around 7 different shampoos over the course of 3 months including alpecin and a cleansing shampoo.
Have I irritated my scalp due to different shampoos? More time combing it and general touching it. My scalp and hair feel very dry. I am going to stick to head and shoulders shampoo.
Also, at the moment I have a shorting mop cut, if everything in place, under bright light I can see a little scalp towards my back, but if wind blows my hair goes all over the place and I can clearly see my scalp.
Would cutting the top short and the sides and back shorter help?

Don't use head and shoulders that stuff damages your hair . There are way better options, try nizoral twice a week. And Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo. It has all the essential oils your scalp needs. The shorter the hair the fuller it looks in most cases keep sides shorter

I too have heard that about Head & Shoulders, but I don't know how much truth there is to it.
I tend to think that keeping a short back and sides is a good type of cut for a man who is thinning. But you might find that there's a certain length, a 'sweet spot', where you minimize the appearance of thinning. You might need to experiment a bit. Maybe go shorter and then let it grow out and see what you think.
