Yes very good. You look like you have good donor as well as not a high contrast between hair color and skin, also a bit of wave to the hair. Also only a nw 3 or so and that patch in the middle always helps dramatically with hair transplants do give needed density that is just hard to get with a HT

This is one of those times when you GO AND SEE A DOCTOR!!! Go and get the opinion of more than ONE HT surgeon.

Thanks for your comments - baldbearded, I have consulted with quite a few HT doctors and have booked for surgery. However it’s in a few months time and I am clearly just in slight panic mode, hence the post. Thanks again.

Dr Hasson - no chance I’m cancelling. Maybe panic mode was too strong a statement. I don’t think it hurts to get the opinions of those who are going through the same thing though, or those who have been in my position and got a HT.

Good luck... had I had enough donor hair... I would have possibly considered such a move... especially with the new technology.

Just an update on this - I noticed the hair feeling/looking thinner all over and went to a trichologist to check it out. She thinks I have telogen effluvium and that I should ideally get that sorted before surgery. She took photos with the trichoscope and found mostly 1 and 2 hair grafts on the back and sides where she expected to find 3’s and 4’s. We went through certain triggers in the months before and I did a very intense endurance challenge over 3 days in September, which is what she puts it down to. If anyone has gone through a similar experience please let me know how you got through it. Would be keen to know your thoughts. Thanks
