    Hair transplant (or lack of)

Cheers Saw, for what it is worth, they should (I think) give you all your money back allowing you to choose where to go next. My point, can you trust anything to do with Ksl, the responses on here or elsewhere appear to be a very much mixed bag of results (good, bad and terrible) by the look of things with some good stories possibly being false including the pictures.

Shawbrook are just as bad it appears. After saying they would suspend my account whilst the investigation took place, They went ahead and deducted the next payment.

They then said they would refund it within a few days. That's been 10 days and nothing has taken place.

A lawyer will have a field day with this. All recorded.

Still no decision on the KSL case.

Definitely not. They are scammers. Using celebritys to sell HTs to the public. Taking money and hiring some unlicensed surgeons to do the job. False advertising saying they are different companies. No wonder they have liquidated fast and got out.

4 month mark now. The density and thickness ain't there but little hairs are appearing from the scalp. I suppose as long as new ones are coming through then it is positive. Still miles to go. Hoping for nice results from now up to 8 and 9 months.

How many months has it been for you and when did you see the most rapid change?

Update- Shawbrook have went past 8 weeks since complaints from patients. They can now report this.

Shawbrook are also trying to get KSL Glasgow patients to attend a "independent hair transplant company" to review each case and make a decision on each person.

This isn't right and they should be refunding anyone who has been mis sold the product and care from KSL. They must be wanting people to agree to the new company (which allegedly has links to KSL) so they don't have to refund the money.

                Hi Jaz

Shawbrook said they were arranging a review with Dr Ganesh Krishnan. I checked him out on here and he seemed to be fairly good. However when I called to arrange a review date with him, they said it won't be him anymore and someone else will take. They will be named later and I will be informed by email. They said if I didn't go to the review then my complaint from the beginning would be dropped.

I haven't went to a solicitor yet but I have reported them to the Financial Ombudsmen who are looking into the handling of my case. Payments are on hold until Shawbrook complete their investigation.

I don't want a new clinic taking my case and it can't be in my contract. I should have the right to choose where I go since KSL is out of business?

Have you heard anything from Shawbrook?

Yeah I agree mate- cowboys the lot of them.

I have never had to get legal advice before- how much is it going to cost to get them to investigate and get the money back? Can you claim legal fees from Shawbrook. I may have to go down that road but ill see what the FO come back with. They seem to be relatively decent.

You can shop around for a solicitor, there are No win / No fee solicitors who are good (deal with and support large Unions etc). I think the Financial Ombudsman may be limited in what they can do, but hopefully they can help. Be careful with what you say to Shawbrook, they are (I suspect) very clever at avoiding paying any money out and indeed trying to claim loan monies still owed!! Jaz

Let me know your progress as I may need to find one. Have you got a new review date scheduled with a surgeon? I haven't heard anything since my last call.

Saw, while I am not in any way qualified to provide you with advise, I would (I am going down this route) put the matter in the hands of a solicitor, I would not make any more direct contact with Shawbrook Bank unless your solicitor advises.

While I cannot again recommend a solicitor, I am aware of a Glasgow company who support Unite the Union members, are operating on a No win / No fee basis and would talk you through their position.

Name below, hope this helps if you decide to contact (you will obviously be able to call the solicitors and speak directly or email if you prefer.

                          regards Jaz

Hi Jaz, thanks alot for this. I think I now need to go down this route.

I have still not received a response from Shawbrook on who is taking my review and where it is. It's supposed to be in a few days.
