Looking for quick opinions on extent of hair loss
Hello, I'm 20 coming up on my 21st birthday soon. I've noticed, within the past year, the hair above my temples can be seen through after cutting my hair shorter and the hairline around my temples has matured/receded within that same time period. I don't know if I would say I notice my hair thinning because it has always been fine, but if I hold it back with my hand I can easily see my scalp. I've been looking at hair loss assessments online and think I'm at type 2. I've got one grandfather and two uncles who are bald from hair loss and I have a cousin who is progressing to a stage 4. I've been thinking about buying rogaine to try and counteract any potential worsening thinning or recession. I've attached some pictures and was hoping others could chime in with their take on any loss and if rogaine would be beneficial.

Rosemary essential oil is very useful for hair growth Mix it with olive, coconut, jojoba, almond or avocado oil and massage your scalp. You will get result quickly.

Ah, NO! Essential oils are oils with "essence". All you will have is a smelly scalp. If this worked... no one would be bald. So enough with the BULLSHIT, please!

I just shared my idea. If this is for no use I am withdrawing my opinion.

No one, on this forum, other than MAYBE a doctor will be able to tell you with any level of accuracy, what MAY work for you.
See a doctor. It is possible that minoxidil and or propecia MAY work for you.
You are more like a Norwood 3, than a 2. What is your crown like?
This can happen to someone at your age, unfortunately. Although... you may be able to save or reverse it, maybe. Again, see a doctor.
Best of luck.
