I quit Minoxidil After only 1 month treatment

Hello! I'm new in the forum and I would like to have some advise . About 5 weeks ago I've started Minoxidil 5% and I've normally noticed a shedding. After the 3rd week I started to have itchy and irritation on the scalp and also dry dandruff flakes every time I used the comb, so I decided to give up the Minoxidil and don't use it anymore because I can't deal with dandruff . I've tried few herbal shampoos but they didn't work at all.
Will this stop have a bad effect on my hair, after using Minoxidil for 5 weeks and then stopping it ? Will the shedding continue after the stoppage and will my healthy hair grow back, those ones that I've lost during the shedding, or they will be totally affected by the stoppage of the treatment?
