Celebrity Hairline Disasters - How To Avoid the Kyle Christie Effect

This is a long video. With that out of the way I wanted to make this video for a while, but due to the amount of information and the work necessary to put it all together, it's taken me quite some time to finalize the edits.

I was first motivated to make this video when someone posted an image of Kyle Christie, the Geordie Shore star, that showed his hair transplant results. My jaw dropped and it represented the bottom of the well that I've seen hairlines falling into for the past several years.

In this video I break down the reasons why this is the new normal in every day social media life, what got us to this point, and what you can do to not only avoid the same fate but to help bring the standards back to where they were ten years ago.

If you have not had a hair transplant yet, but you are considering one, this could be the most important video you'll ever watch.

Outstanding video! This is precisely just one of the things I am facing, probably worse.

Joe, this is what some folks fail to understand. The quality of the hairline is dependent on graft grouping and placement. You got some docs that may not even angle hairs into proper lateral slit format.

I think all the guys that have been mass messaging me, should definitely take a look and understand Joe’s videos.

I hadn't heard of the guy, but he seems to be one of those people who goes for what, without knowing the proper term for it, I'll call an "exaggerated perfection" aesthetic. It's very synthetic and I'm sure the people who go for it are aware of that.

Is that video for FUT (strip) or FUE (punch method) I saw it said FUE in the video, but wasn't sure.

It's not just doctors you know. Consider the tedious days of technicians who do the actual planting in most cases. They, by human nature, could be tempted to lose precision as the task goes along. I'd trust a fully-capable robot more since it wouldn't get bored. Waiting for that day or best of all, true cloning.

                          What's actually going on here?

I understand the issue is the use of multi-follicle grafts being used in the hairline, but how does it happen?

I was a little confused by the comparison in competence of FUT vs FUE-only clinics. I understand that FUE-only clinics wouldn't have been experienced in using a microscope, but isn't the whole idea of FUE that you are extracting single follicles? That's where I got lost. It seems their logic is 'why would we need microscopes?' and I'm wondering the same thing.

Is it that you can still get multi-follicle grafts via FUE extraction? Is that how it happens? Like our heads naturally grow them, and they can naturally appear some places, but not usually the hairline?

Also, are singletons rare in comparison? I was looking at the bowl, split into quarters, in the video. Each section had less than the previous with the #1 section being nearly empty!

If you’re losing your hair then just own it and shave it off.
