Almost 9 months post-op
Just wanted to give a quick update. I was going to update 6 months post-op, but to be honest it was a difficult time because I was freaking out over how thin the transplanted hair looked. Things have improved considerably and I'm happy with the results so far.
Nobody has come up to me and said, "hey, you look like you have more hair!" However, I've noticed other subtle changes. I don't get bald or combover jokes anymore and people don't feel obligated to say they're sorry to me when talking about someone else's hair loss. Also, the studies I've heard before the transplant about women responding to men with more hair more frequently on online dating sites are true (might as well come clean with everything).
Not to say I don't go through phases of closely examining my hair, but now that it looks pretty good, I stress less about it. I'll post pics soon.
