Needing some advice on how to mix my own adenosine topical

Hi all

I’ve been looking for some alternatives to minox recently because it’s had a really weird effect on my hair, where basically it works 3 months out of the year, then the rest of the time my hair stops growing and falls out. It’s bizarre. I know this because I have been using 2mg oral minox and also the 5% topical daily, and it affects my whole body hair growth. Face, legs, arms - everywhere. Currently i’m Back to not growing hair and I basically don’t have to shave. It’s heartbreaking. SO, i want to get rid of topical minox and substitute it for another growth stim to see if it helps kick my hair back into life. My plan was already to use garnier stemoxydine with niacinamide, ceramide and 5% RU in it, but I’m wondering now if i can also add in some pure adenosine powder if I buy some. I don’t think using the Shiseido product is a viable option given that for 150, it costs almost $90 in Australia. Way too expensive. So my questions are:
- Does it need to specifically be PURE adenosine powder? Not triphosphate?
- What is the best vehicle for
adenosine powder? Can I use stemoxydine?
- what are the ratios/dosages required? Studies used a 2% topical, so for example would I use 1g in 100ml solution?
- has anyone tried this with good results? Thanks!
