I was referring to green vegetables as a part of a basis for solid overall nutrition, not specifically for iron deficiencies. I didn't want to get into too many details because that would take a small book, which I'm not qualified to write. Point being, don't eat junk food, eat as clean as possible and identify vitamin and mineral deficiencies and have them addressed with a long term plan.

Make sure you eat around 15% protein if you are sedentary or around 20% if you are lifting weighs a lot. Keratin is a protein and if you lack amino acids in your diet your body will prioritize, hair is not very high priority...Also consider adding MSM supplements or eat stuff high in sulfur. This element is the third most abondant in your body and is crucial to the synthesis of amino acid Cysteine. All Keratin fibers are linked together by a bond call "disulfide bond" formed between 2 Cysteine residues. In short, your hair really needs it. Vit A, B complex, Zinc and copper are also quite importante. All minerals and vitamins are important but those are the most important for hair health.
