How to apply Minoxidil on Temples? I might be doing it wrong!

Good morning guys,

I think I might be doing it wrong, I only apply minoxidil on my temples and not in the entire front scalp, I have read so many post and people apply minoxidil almost everywhere.

I only apply a small amount of minoxidil foam on my temples and massage it in circular motion.

I am in my third month of finasteride but using minoxidil for about 1 month (I used it in the past for about 2 years but stopped like two times, this will be my third but with finasteride) and I see new tiny hairs around the temple but also I see thinning hair around it so... I don't know if I am doing it wrong.

BTW, I think I was seeing progress and no thinning hair without minoxidil.

Is it possible to shed, thin hair in the first month of using minoxidil while I was on my 2nd month of finasteride?

Any thoughts, apply full front scalp or just temples where I have no hair?
