Several studies backing up LLLT devices. Should we believe them?

I was quite surprised to see several studies on LLLT devices backing up their efficacy.

The latest one seems to be iRestore, but afaik it has not been published yet.

The Growth of Human Scalp Hair Mediated by Visible Red Light Laser and LED Sources in Males

The growth of human scalp hair in females using visible red light laser and LED sources

Low-Level Laser (Light) Therapy (LLLT) for treatment of hair loss

    Can we believe these studies?

Do you think the studies are fake?
Joe Tillman says they are legit. I see some people say they are useless while others say they help.
I wonder if others can weigh in with personal experience?
I see a few of them offer money back if you return it

With several independent studies backing them up I think it's real. The chances of all these companies producing fraudulent studies are very small, I think.

Yes I'm a new member. I signed up because I wanted to discuss LLLT devices. Anything wrong with that?

Snake oil? Care to explain why all these studies show that it works?

Would either of you two totally different gentleman be able to perhaps offer a company or particular brand of laser helmet? Because I have a feeling that's where this conversation might be eventually going.

No the idea was to have others weigh in whether or not LLT works or not but instead an ignorant jack ass like you replied adding nothing constructive to the thread . Do us all a favour and **** off!

"Do us all a favour" ... all two of you?

Okay, this will be one of two outcomes.

                    1. You're both legit, in which case, you have your first bit of feedback about LLT you were asking forum users for, which is negative, feedback that was instantly met with aggression and demands to explain why I was ignoring such great reviews of it.

                    Or (and far more likely)

                    2. People in 6 months reading this will see the following - me, still active, still with a decnet number of posts. You guys, active for a couple of days at best, a few posts all related to this thread, maybe a couple of other threads if you're smart now and want to try and look like you're not someone using two accounts to promote some dodgy piece of nonsense. The users and lurkers of this forum have seen countless threads started like this designed with a single purpose, to sell something. If you guys were legit and had lurked on this site for a while, you'd at least understand why jaded long term posters would be suspicious of a very product based opening from two accounts, with no previous history on the site, in a conversation started in this way.

The proof will be in the longevity of your accounts and posts, not in your name calling, which doesn't make you look even remotely defensive from the off.

Either way, you're just trying to make a living, so merry Christmas and thanks for the abuse.

No I was asking you why you ignore peer reviewed scientific studies on the topic.

Maybe this is disappointing for you but I'm just a user of the iGrow helmet. Going by my 3 months results I think it's working but this is entirely subjective.

But the iGrow helmet only has 21 lasers, so I don't think it's such a good product. I expect products with more lasers will be better.

From what I have read LLLT works but not significantly for most men. More effective for women than men, similar to PRP. Its not going to regrow a lot of hair or stop you from going bald on its own. Its effectiveness ranges from not at all to %5 minox.

I've read this current systematic review and it places LLLT just behind finasteride and better than minoxidil. The review is discussed in this article: http://suppversity.blogspot.nl/2017/...-light-or.html
