    Info all inside! Thanks guys!

First off, thanks for reading my post!

Hopefully I leave here with some good solid advice.

Well It all started a few years back. When I was 19. I noticed my hair severely thinning in front mid and the temples. Strange though that the right side was receded almost noticeably more! This all hitting me hard breaking up with a beautiful Asian girl that I lived with for almost a year!

I haven't really held a job my whole life, been playing mainly poker, and have been doing quite well. So naturally the high stress life of poker, with all the traveling and long nights led me to think that that was the sole causer of my hair loss. So after the breakup, my confidence dropped. But being not a bad looking guy it didn't really stop me from getting a girl time to time. But me being Italian at heart. I love to mess around with my hair.

Funny story at 18 before this nightmare started I really started my poker career at this casino in upstate New York. And literally had 3 poker dealer females (One being the Asian girl I dated and eventually shacked up with for one year). I always thought my hair did it cause my thick black hair talked.

    The progress and information!

    * Well I forked up 10k cash to Doc Epstein! At age 21, which was 3 months ago 1800 grafts, by strip.. He suggested FUE, but I declined because I never shave my head.

    * He said I was a good candidate, because my supply was so thick. I gad basically lost 40% of my hair front mid and the temples were receded.

    * The hair has started to grow. About a month ago. He went really Conservative on me!

    * On Generic Propecia for 3 months

    Questions!

    1. I want a more youthful hair line. Knowing my donor density is super thick should I ask Doc to perform another surgery to give me the appearance and lower and square off my hairline? I also want my points a little stronger.

    2. Should I start rogaine and nioxin or is it just a waste of time?

Frankly I do not care about my hair in my upper fiftys. Just want to keep it now lol

    Thanks,

    Bobby

PS: I dont no how to put pics on here if someone can help me I would do it!

Wow, I find it strange that you found a reputable doc to operate on you at such a young age.

That being said, you should really take into consideration what you'll look like when you're fifty. I know it's not important to you now, and I know you want to look great while you're in your prime, but being reckless and not caring about the future can make life hell for you later.

Goodluck with the HT! I hope you get the results you're expecting. You should post some before and after pics. I'm sure a lot of people would like to see your documented progress.

Cool. You should start a thread and post them.

I agree that pictures would be helpful. You can upload your photos to a free site, such a photobucket.com, and then use the image URL (which you will find once you upload them) to link them to a post here.

If, at 21, you had already lost 40% of your hair, even with great donor density, you are in danger of exhausting your donor supply quite early. For this reason, I would caution you not to go back in and create a lower hairline at this point in time. Even if you feel you will not care about your hair at 50, you will be in a very awkward position if you've got a wall of hair up front and you lose most of the hair behind it. Dr. Epstein took a conservative approach with you for good reason, and was likely considering the long-term implications of being too aggressive on someone so young. You could try speaking with him about your desire to take your hairline lower but it's likely that he will tell you that it will not be in your best interest.

It's good that you are taking Propecia- this should help you retain what hair you currently do have. I would advise giving it six months to a year to see how it works for you before worrying about starting Rogaine.

              YoungHairLoss,

Trust me. You will still care about your hairloss and resulting appearance in your upper fifties. I felt that way many years ago, but now I am 55 and had four seperate HT procedures for a grand total of 6900 grafts and ended up with an awesome restored look.

Then last September, 2009 I was diagnosed with lung cancer and had to undergo some very intense chemotherapy. 100% of my hair fell out and I wanted it back! It is now growing back in and I anticipate it will all be grown in several more months or by the end of this summer.

Am also 100% cancer free as well and am very thankful!

Very interesting story. But now is the era of online casinos. I play Caesar's Empire Slot.Vast and opulent, Caesar’s Empire has great wealth to offer to its citizens. Come claim the riches that are rightfully yours as a citizen in Caesar’s Empire. Win a special payout when Coliseums appear anywhere. Win a superior payout when Caesar serves as substitute in any winning combination. When the Coliseum appears on reel five and Caesar appears anywhere, you trigger the Free Game Feature. During free games, Caesar can appear on reel five, all Coliseums are changed to Caesars or Cleopatras to give you more chances at big payouts, you can win additional free games, and all prizes are doubled. As a citizen, you even have a chance to win the Empire’s colossal progressive jackpot!
