Differentiating between a natural, maturing hairline and one that's receding due to MPB is always very tricky... I think your hair looks to be in fantastic shape, but I do understand why you're at least seeking assurance/answers. Your hairline is slightly irregular, but that's also very normal/natural.

Trust that all the dermatologists you've seen in person know what they're talking about and let that put your mind at ease. Keep an eye on it once a month or so (don't let it become an obsession) and if you see it changing too much then you can reevaluate... but seriously know that you have FANTASTIC hair and shouldn't be stressed out about it right now.

And if you do decide to do Rogaine, keep in mind that you will shed hair in the beginning... (My advice would be to not do it at this point).

Maturing and Balding are basically the same thing, with the same causes, genetics and hormones (with stress and diet being minor contributing factors).

While most (but not ALL men) experience maturing (teens to 20s), not ALL go on to MPB.

I agree, don't stress about it, just watch it. If you get to a point where it actually bothers you, then you have choices.

Good advice above. I will add that if you do use the Minoxidil, realise that it's a commitment. Any hairs that re-grow due to the treatment will be lost if you stop using it. Skipping a day here or there won't matter, but if you get fed up with applying it the benefits will be undone. I agree with pkipling that you should probably not use it at this time. Your hair looks great. Just keep a watchful eye on it to see if the recession continues.
