Default Am I getting a bald spot?

My hairline has been receding for the past couple years and the only thing that's been getting me through my depression is me constantly telling myself that I'm lucky I'm not getting a bald spot but unfortunately after getting a haircut today I've noticed what looks like the beginning of one

I've had the scar since I was a kid and I'm talking about the patch underneath it, any chance this could be related to something else besides balding? I thought bald spots started higher up?

I've never noticed it before but I've always paid more attention to my receding hairline as I didn't think I'd have to deal with this as I'm only 22 ugh.

It sucks. I understand. I started going visibly balding when I was TWENTY.

If you want to save your hair, jump on the Propecia/Minoxidil bandwagon NOW. Please don't wait.

If you don't care, then acceptance is a good thing. Some guys can accept, some can't (me). Nothing
    wrong with accepting it.

The problem is, if you wait too many years, it will be too late. Better to start treating it at a young
    age.

I tried Propecia and it gave me ED sadly, now I'm on Minoxodil and Nizoral to try and slow it down as much as I can.

And I'm definitely with you in the not being able to accept it category sadly.

I posted these pics on another site and a member told me to see a GP/Derm to see if I have Alopecia areata as apparently it's unusual to start growing a bald spot in that area.

It's just odd because my brother is nearly 30 and his hair receded exactly like mine but he doesn't have any bald spot so I was expecting this.

Did your hair loss start in a similar place?

I suggest to shave your hair, I cant see you face, but black usually can pull it easily

I'm skinny and can't grow a proper beard so I won't look good bald at my age.

Went to the GP who said it doesn't look like alopecia or a bald spot:

You can't really see anything now that my hair's grown in
