Why is there so little information on Mesotherapy Dutasteride treatment.

Why is there so little on Mesotherapy Dutasteride treatment?

I recently started making enquiries for a HT however I do not currently use any medication to stabilise my loss.

The doctor mentioned Mesotherapy using Dutasteride as one of the options alongside the more well known finasteride and minoxidil. Effectively the treatment requires injecting Dutasteride into the scalp / topically every three months of so.. He mentioned he carries out the procedure with positive result however admitted relatively little is known about the long term effects of the treatment as no findings have been published. The doctor is fairly well known in the UK from what I've seen.

I've found some useful information that suggests it is a good treatment which is NOT absorbed into the blood stream and there does not have the sides associated with fin.

I however have found very little on it on forums which leads me to believe no one is using it.. Which begs the question why not?!?!

Other than the lack of research.. It sounds like a obvious choice to me.
