Yes, he said permanent shock loss would probably kill as many hair as grafted, so absolutely unproductive. Blood supply is not as good in the crown area. Regrowth is also slower there. I think you have been answered pretty clearly.

How many grafts was that, and was it FUT?

My top looks dense as my hair caliber is big, no see through even wet. My crown is a little bit see through when wet but not at all when dry. It was FUE 2500 grafts.

man, slightly dissapointing to hear. So just hairline (zone 1) is 2500 grafts. ouch.

Well no, it covered a pretty large area, they went pretty far back as hair there were on their way out. Density is 50 graft per square centimeter so you can do the math.
