    Default Tricomin

Has anyone had any experience of using Tricomin? I'd never heard of it, but came across it randomly while doing some reading online.

Here's some reviews of the product (some pretty negative as well as positive):

    Thumbs down

I don't think there is a lot of good science behind these products. Some hair transplant surgeons sell them to their patients after surgery, but I don't think there is any evidence that they actually speed healing.

This is a bit too controversial for me to try. I have a really aggressive regimen...

If I thought there was any point in adding this I really would. I think it could help transplants heal faster...that sounds more legit etc. But growing hair...meh... I don't know.

They don't even say what % of copper peptides they use, only that it is less than the studies. There is no actual research on tricomin.

Follica has a lot more copper peptides but it isn't specific ones. So if you are going to get a copper peptide treatment, Tricomin is the way to go in my opinion.

There hasn't been any research on this product really. I don't know if it works. It can't be bad for your hair. But id rather apply something that I know works in the time that i should apply this.

I really was interested in adding something to my regimen. So I decided on retin-a instead. It has been proven in studies to grow hair even without minoxidil. I will use it to help minoxidil absorb. Skin/hair irritants sometimes have hair growth properties. That is why retin-a might be somewhat effective. But I am MAINLY using it to help with absorption. Propylene Glycol is a good example of a skin irritant that they use in Rogaine liquid that actually promotes hair growth. A lot of doctors stand strongly behind it. Though it causes sides more so it is used less. Dr Lee uses it in selective solutions not in all. I don't have it in any of mine at the moment. I have too much minoxidil anyway.

I don't think tricomin is worth it man.
