Shock Loss to 1st Transplanted Hair?
Hello!
I'm a little concerned right now...
Years ago, I had my 1st HT done on my hair line. I had a 2nd HT done to my hair line less than a week ago. Right now I notice only my newly transplanted hair in that area. It looks like my hair from my 1st HT is not growing anymore???
What is going on?

Could be shock loss possible the trauma of 2nd transplant

But to happen right after surgery? I can not see any of my previously transplanted hair growing.
I guess I have to wait a few weeks until my newly transplanted hair falls out. If that area is near completely bald then something is not right.

Transplanted hairs are generally 'stronger' than native hairs in the balding area, but they are still hairs and can be prone to shockloss. Remember that shockloss in the donor area isn't unheard of.
I understand and sympathize as you're currently st the stage where your hair will be looking at its worst, but I'm confident that hairs from your first HT will grow back. The odds are in your favour.
