    New to the forum!

Hello everyone, I just registered today after being a frequent visitor to the site for the last 6-8 months. Im 30 and have been losing hair for the last 7 years now but at a very gradual pace. I was blessed with a very full set of hair which had always been thin but there was "alot of hair". Ive been very fortunate that the hair loss has'nt really been noticeable until very recently. My hair loss is kinda weird (or maybe not) because I have thinned out almost all around my scalp except the back of my head. My hairline is still intact but low in density, specially under lights and sides above my ears have been very thin for a while.

Sounds like you might have diffuse loss throughout the balding area. Can you share any photos?

Welcome to the forum! As Matt suggested, your best bet for anyone to be able to point you in the right direction is to share some photos... Preferably some from years ago as well so we can see how it's progressed. But no matter what feedback you get here, eventually you'll need to start looking at different hair restoration doctors and trying to get an in-person consultation. This will give you a huge amount of information so that you can be better educated about your current situation and understand what realistic options you'll have in terms of restoring your hair.

I doubt if hegets is ready for a transplant just yet. It would be helpful to see photos, but his description indicates quite minor loss.

It might be from something other than androgens. If it's low thyroid functions, that hair loss is DEFINITELY reversible.

Not to mention low thyroid can cause many problems. In some people, the pituitary gland actually signals the body to kill the thyroid organ, because it believes an inactive thyroid is not actually part of the body.
