    Default PRP Dangerous

For all the disbelief that PRP can cause further hair loss, look at the links below all by people who reported hair loss after PRP. The closest thing all these people and myself are all diagnosed with is "shock loss" or "TE". I wonder how many of these doctors themselves have had PRP to their scalp. I'm also wondering why there is so much denial that this can happen, the thing I can think of is loss of $ revenue for doctors who do this.

It would be nice to have answers from a expert who acknowledges this as a problem.

What's scary is I can't find one doctor who can tell me what is going one with me post PRP. Not one in my area or around the country.

It's interesting to here how "rare" it is to lose hair from this procedure but it doesn't seem so rare.

Hey there. I actually had PRP with Dr. Cooley. Great guy and service is top notch. But 7 months out I can still see shocked hairs in my donor returning. No gains whatsoever. It's almost like there's an undergrowth happening now, like beard stubble so hopefully this isn't permanent. It didn't start until about the 3rd month. What weird is it only really happened (the shed that is) in my donor. I definitely seen no gains though and would highly discourage anyone from rushing into a prp just because it's the thing to do. My thought process was why not, couldn't hurt. This is not a mark against Dr. Cooley. He's an amazing surgeon, but this stuff doesn't react the same with everyone.

Hi Meridian1000, thank you for your response. Is there a way I could ask you some private questions?

To update people. I have met/talked with three women around the USA who have had this nightmare happen to them. Some of the women are beside themselves feeling horrified. I doubt this is rare and that all four of us could be suffering from something "rare" from PRP and "shock loss".

Sure thing I don't know if there's anyway to communicate private here though.
