Is it normal crown hair or early hair loss

Hello, I've started to notice signs of hair loss, but my mother is convinced it's just a genetic high hair line. Both my mother and my brother have a high hairline and my dad has male pattern baldness but I've noticed my crown, is this normal or hair loss?
