Default URGENT: Trying to convince myself finasteride/propecia is not too risky (worth risk)

So I'm trying convince myself finasteride is worth the risk before I lose all the rest of my hair. I had a FUE done recently. I've spent hundreds of hours researching finasteride and years debating whether or not I should take it. I have a prescription of it but have never taken it. Please let me know your thoughts regarding the following:

What are your thoughts regarding NIH, US Gov, adding PFS to their website in 2015? I know it's not an "official" recognition of PFS but it indirectly is by posting it. Also, regarding Dr. Irwin Goldstein saying he has multiple patients who are physicians who can no longer practice medicine because of PFS? I'd love to take finasteride but the potential for long-term, permanent side effects (severe neurological, physical, and sexual side effects - potentially life destroying), even if the risk is tiny, doesn't seem worth it to me just because I want to some hairs on my head. It seems like a lot of guys who get it, randomly get it over night due to endocrine crash after 7-8+ years of no side effects. Others seem to get it after stopping finasteride (also randomly because some claim they had stopped before with no side effects and then stopped again later and got PFS). Which means not having side effects for 4-5 years of taking it, doesn't really mean anything because permanent side effects could always develop in later years to come. Even UpToDate (what doctors use) quotes persistent sexual dysfunction of finasteride (6+ years) at 1.5% (so ~1-2 people out of every 100). If someone can please convince me otherwise, I will be eternally grateful so I can stop losing my hair. Posted links below. Just curious to hear your thoughts.
