Default FUE making you uneligible for Replicel like treatments?

    Hello everyone,

it's 2017 we are still waiting for something very much more helping.
We are supposed to be one year away from Replicel momentum.

I am a bit hesitating for another procedure (I had a Gho HST in 2012).
I'd like to get more coverage etc...

BUT I was wondering, does anyone know if the people who got transplanted will not be screwed with Replicel?

    I explain a bit!
transplanted hair are artificially put back on the recipient area, causing (even with the finest), some minimal trauma.
And seeing the concept of Replicel, re-awakening dormant follicles or reactivating underneath scalp cells.... aren't the transplanted hair from any previous procedure going to act like a barrier, an obstacle for the newly resurrected hair to come out?

Was any sort of statement made about it?

Thank you to share your thoughts and your knowledges if any!!!

My concern is the damage transplanted hairs would do to the recipient area... if ever something comes out that'll actually wake dormant hair follicles.

    same exact concern!
first of' 2018 3rd quarter, no way it's out... we will again be told to wait another 3 years!
so if you want to have something in between it is a bit of a gambling!

FUE would be compatible with much later Tsuji Lab techn.... but Replicel?

Looks like they're advancing further in the research too.

I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that Replicel said having a HT would not impact on the possibility of having their RCH-01 treatment. However don't quote me on this.

In any case it's not even certain that RCH-01 will ever come to fruition. I don't recall ever seeing any photos showing its effectiveness. I highly doubt anything will be available in 2018. I still think it's at least five years away.

I hope FUE does not make you disqualified for replicel treatments. It will help a lot of repair patients that are still repair patients get better results. Hopefully, even the donor can be regenerated.

I will email them and see if I can get some clarity on the matter.

If replicel succeeds, they should administer the treatment at their centers only. Keep their technology and expertise at the hands of experts. No need to give any unethical docs licenses to do their name damage. I hope they follow a model like labcorp. Set up multiple offices and treatment centers vs sell proprietary rights. In the end, the doc that has the right to administer may misuse it on certain types of scalps/conditions to make a buck.
