Rogaine Foam to Liquid cause increased shedding

I don't know if it's just in my head but recently I switched from rogaine foam to liquid and think I'm shedding or receding more. I was on the foam for three months once daily then switched to liquid once daily. I only apply it to the left front because that's the only thin spot I have. I switched to the liquid because something in the foam was irritating my skin like none other towards the last month inused it. My thin spot the hairs lick thicker than before treatment and Inhave been on propecia and rogaine since mid May.
