Liquid vs Foam Roagine, which is more effective?

I recently switched form foam Rogaine to liquid due to the foam causing my skin to burn and dry out. The liquid doesn't seem to cause as much irritation. Does anyone know which is more effective, liquid or foam? And has anyone experienced shedding after switching between the two.

I was wondering what would cause the shed from switching if you have any idea? I think I have shed or receded more since the switch.

I have great experience with Rogaine foam. It has helped me tremendously with long term growth and preservation of my existing and my transplanted hair. Moreover, I too experienced a shed when I switched from liquid to foam. Be patient and give it time.
