Hair Loss in Front

Hi, I have noticed that the most typical place to begin to lose hair loss is on the crown of the head but I have had absolutely no thinning there. I also do not really notice a receding hairline. My thining is in the front. What does this mean? Do people just lose hair in different places?

I would say that recession at the temples is usually the first place men lose hair.

I agree, not all men start losing hair in the crown area, mine started around the temples and the hair line. As 'KeepTheHair' mentioned, everyone has different types of loss.. see the norwood scale..

Yeah I started losing my hair in the front about 2-3 years earlier than the crown.

Hair loss or thinning beginning in the frontal region is one of the more common patterns of male pattern baldness or Androgenetic Alopecia. Hopefully, it will be the only area you experience any hair loss.
