should I add Minoxidil or Dutasteride

should i add minoxidil ?

I am 23 nw 2.5
I’ve been on finasteride .5 for 5 months and 1.25 for another 2.
7 months total.
I haven’t noticed any thickening or anything but less shedding, until i began to try biotin and then my head shaded way more.
my scalp itch is definitely not as bad as it was before i started,


I was wondering if I should start minoxidil as well, or start dutasteride

Ideally I wouldn’t have to put a messy liquid on my head everyday, I'd rather just pop a pill
but I want to halt my hairloss or slow it down to a “crawl”

I am looking for advice, because I worry finasteride isn’t going to be enough for me as my hairloss is aggressive

It's hard to advise you without pictures showing how fast/slow you are still shedding while on Finasteride. If you'd still like to see better results though you can try Minoxidil, it's fairly low risk so if you try it and don't like it, it's easy to stop. Dutasteride isn't so simple so it's usually saved for a last resort.
